Saint Petersburg, 22 February, 2008: Czura Thornton, the private investment firm founded by Tony Czura and Nick Thornton in 2003, today announced the establishment of new offices in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The office is located in the city’s historic Zinger building on Nevsky prospect, constructed for U.S industrialist  Singer, of  Singer sewing machine fame, in 1902-1904. 

Tony Czura, Chairman of Czura Thornton, said “We have several years operating experience in Russia through our previous investment in YPI Yellow Pages Limited and our property investment activity, and we have an excellent team based locally. We see a continuing flow of opportunity in Russia’s growing economy and in a politically stable environment. It therefore makes sense for us to mark our long term commitment to Russia by the opening of these offices.”
