Jonathan and Elaine work in the UK Clinical Monitoring department at Chiltern.

Jonathan and his fellow Gold winners will be further recognized at a reception and luncheon at the House of Commons in the presence of The Economic and Business Minister Ian Pearson MP and the Rt Hon Kevin Barron MP.

Jonathan commented, “I am delighted to have won this award. Very talented professionals entered this event, winning the top prize was both a personal achievement and a testament to the quality of support and training provided by Chiltern. It goes without saying that it is a great honor to attend the event at the House of Commons.”

Elaine commented, “Winning this award is wonderful, it is always a pleasure to enter such a prestigious competition and be rewarded with a prize.”

Stuart Young, Executive Vice President of Clinical Monitoring added, “Chiltern has been awarded PharmaTimes Awards for the past three years, including the coveted Clinical Department of the Year award last year. This further demonstrates our commitment to staff development, mentoring and training. I would like to personally congratulate Jonathan and Elaine for their achievements in supporting the UK Clinical Monitoring Team.”

The PharmaTimes Clinical Researcher of the Year competition is designed to recognize and reward excellence in pharmaceutical clinical development across Europe. Unlike other awards, these measure individual competence in an exposed environment where finalists go through several preliminary rounds culminating in presentations to seasoned and senior industry managers.
